Downgrade PSP firmware
As was likely to happen, some enterprising individuals have managed to produce a working downgrade for the Sony PSP. The downgrader makes use of a recently documented exploit found in the supposedly crack-proof firmware 2.0. After copying files to a memorystick, waiting 30 seconds, rebooting, ignoring errors and hopping up and down a 2.0 firmware PSP is reduced to a 1.50. According to reports, the procedure seems to work. Anyone out there with a PSP want to give this a try? As they say: hacker beware
